Integrated Aesthetic Rejuvenation & Individualized Anatomical Rejuvenation

Introduction
IAR is a concept developed by Dr Liu which stands for both Integrated Aesthetic Rejuvenation and Individualized Anatomical Rejuvenation. Each individual's anatomy is analyzed and assessed including the skin, soft tissue, muscle, and bone. Treatment options are selected to best match each anatomical areas deficiency. The end result is integration of multiple treatment modalities applied to the global anatomy to deliver natural results unique to each individual.

Example of Integrated Aesthetic Rejuvenation: Soft Tissue Fillers Utilized to Match Patient Anatomy

In the application of soft tissue fillers, a combination of different fillers is often selected to maximize results by matching the unique quality of each filler to achieve either deep structural support, mid layer soft tissue restoration, and/or correction of fine surface lines. This approach not only considers the different layers of anatomy by depth, but also observes surface anatomy of adjacent cosmetic zones of the upper, mid, and lower face as well as the symmetry of the face laterally.
