Forehead Rejuvenation Using Fillers
EXAMPLE OF FILLERS TO CORRECT VOLUME LOSS OF THE FOREHEAD
An important aspect of facial aging of that is often ignored is volume loss of the forehead region. In the picture below of the skeletal forehead, there are two natural grooves and contours depicted. The blue arrow is highlighting the indented area between the orbital (eye socket) bone and frontal bone. The red arrow is pointing to another natural groove of the forehead (supratrochlear groove). As we naturally age, these two regions of the forehead lose fat and soft tissue creating visible grooves and indentations. It commonly conveys an impression of an aged face, i.e., "skeletal" face. With proper replenishing of volume using fillers, a soft youthful contour to the forehead can be restored.
Below is an example wher Dr Liu used fillers to restore a soft youthful appearance to the forehead.
